The anticipation for season two of True Detective is already high and we don’t even know who is going to be in it yet! Nic Pozzolatto is currently working on that though, and a name that seems to keep surfacing for one of the leads is Brad Pitt. Word is, that discussions with Pitt will go as far as his schedule allows him to, but he is in serious consideration. If you remember the basis of the show, the main characters are set to change each season, which is why the beloved Rust Chole and Marty will not be back.
However, with the writing and hype of the series, it should be no problem for them to continue to lock down A-list actors. Also, being it’s only a one season commitment, it will continue to make it easy to lure in the big time talent.
