You don’t see this in rap every day
Chance The Rapper is all about uplifting the city of Chicago, helping the youth make it out of the violence. He helped recently with campaigns like #SaveChicago that helped spawn the city to go 42 hours without a gun-related homicide. For those who follow Chano, he is always promoting a more positive view than most of his peers in the city.
This weekend, all of that was recognized by Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who presented him with the “Outstanding Youth Of The Year” award for his “outstanding contributions to the youth of the State of Illinois.” Chance was honored to receive the award and hold the title
