In the midst of a trip to Uganda, Kanye West was scheduled to come back and talk mental health with Charlamagne Tha God in hopes that it would inspire people in the black and brown community to come out and speak on their problems.
That talk never happened thanks to Yeezy’s stop by the White House recently.
In a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Charlamagne got straight to the shits and broke down why he cancelled the conversation with Kanye.
He said it was mostly because he backtracked on his bipolar diagnosis and was not on his medication and that he wanted to have a serious conversation with him while he had a clear head. He didn’t want their serious talk to turn into a distraction because it’s a touchy subject in the black community.
He also went on to explain how he cancelled the talk with ‘Ye and had some words for President Trump after watching an interview of him in 1989.
