Here’s the new visuals for the upcoming Gangster Squad film, staring Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling, Sean Pen, Nick Nolte, Emma Stone & Anthony Mackie. The movie is about a secret group of LAPD detectives (Brolin & Gosling) and their fight to keep East Coast Mafia boss (Penn) out of LA back in the 1940’s & 50’s
You may remember us putting a similar trailer earlier this summer, but Warner Bros. pulled the trailers after the Dark Knight Rises theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, due to a scene where characters shoot movie goers in a movie theater. They ended up pushing back the release of the film to re-shoot the scene in a different setting, since its reported to be a crucial part of the film’s story. Pushbacks aside, this new trailer looks fucking sick.
Gangster Squad now releases in movie theaters January 11th, 2013.
