After watching Black Mirror on Netflix, everything that has to do with the future seems trippy. This new movie The Circle has that type of feel to it. Emma Watson and Tom Hanks are both at the cusp of changing the world with their company, which has figured out how to solve every problem and cure any disease. Pretty crazy if you think about it. That’s if you believe Hanks’ character and his fictional Ted Talks.
Apparently, he’s the founder of this mysterious company that feels a little invasive. That small camera that wants to capture everything has something to do with it. That last line of the trailer was just the icing on the cake.
The Circle is based on the novel by Dave Eggers. The movie will hit theaters on April 28.
