DC Entertainment Launching Live-Action Digital TV Service in 2018

The alternative to the Netflix and Marvel partnership. . .

After witnessing Marvel Entertainment and Netflix develop a core base with their own The Defenders Universe (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist) over the last three years, DC Entertainment is finally stepping into the digital world. Through the help of Warner Bros. Television, DC is readying a digital content hub for live-action and animate content.

With some shows on indefinite hiatus, DC is readying their Titans live-action series; which was previously developed by TNT Studios – but cancelled last second. Luckily, with the new streaming service, Cartoon Network’s third season of Young Justice: Outsiders will also debut on the platform.

At the moment, the soon-to-be digital giant is set to kick off in 2018; which means more details could emerge this summer at San Diego Comic-Con, for an possible top of the year rollout.
