It looks like young Minnesota Timberwolves rising-star Andrew Wiggins will be one of the next faces over at Adidas Basketball to get his own signature silhouette. Following John Wall’s contract conclusion with the popular sports footwear brand last year, it’s only right that 3-stripes would start implementing their new batch of talent – starting with the Canadian phenom.
Last month, few images leaked of the a silhouette that was rumored to be John Wall’s 3rd signature silhouette; but after he departed with the brand, many speculated that the model had been given to AW. A couple days back, more info surfaced and the model is deemed the “adidas Explosive”; and although it won’t be Wiggins official signature silhouette, he will be the face of the upcoming campaign for the shoe.
The adidas Explosive’s will be releasing in the next few months at 3-stripes retailers worldwide and over at the brand’s online shop. For now, check out a few detailed images of the kicks above and stay tuned for more info and an official unveiling.
