The streaming wars continue
Apple has been trying to get their hands in the TV streaming wars and battle against the Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime’s of the world. Although their TV stream model (that would battle SLING TV) is currently on indefinite hiatus until contracts get sorted out and deals get inked, they are moving forward with original series.
The first will star Dr. Dre and will be called Vital Signs. The first original television series will consist of six episodes that will hit Apple TV all at once, much like Netflix, and the semi autobiographical drama will be directed by Paul Hunter. Sam Rockwell and Mo McCrae will also star.
