Looks like Drake isn’t just switching sides when it comes to his OVO Sound Radio, but he’s also branching out into more content and his latest venture is alongside LeBron James and Maverick Carter for their UNINTERRUPTED channel.
As part owner and promoter for UNINTERRUPTED Canada, Drizzy will be able to collaborate with Shopify Studios to develop content for spotlight on entrepreneurs and athletes. Both CEO Scott Moore (formerly of Sportsnet) and CCO Vinay Virmani (film, producer) will manage the channel to create “authentic, athlete-driven storytelling, content, events, and merchandise.”
King James had this to say about the new deal with the 6 God:
“When we started Uninterrupted, it was to give athletes a platform where we could share our stories and connect with our fans in a way we never had before. And to show what we are passionate about beyond the sports we play. It’s exciting to see that idea now leading a whole new era of athletes around the world feeling empowered to do more and be more.”
Drizzy also had this to say about the news:
