OVO x Adidas!
The days of Drake calling himself Jumpman could be coming to an end (see: What a Time to Be Alive). According to Sole Collector, multiple sources have told the sneaker heads that Drake is plotting an exit from Jordan Brand to Adidas. It’s being reported that the OVO rep is looking for more creative control under three stripes and is unhappy with his current tenure at Jordan.
Since December 2013, the 6-God has virtually been an ambassador for the brand; including just releasing his OVO-themed Jordan 8’s over a few days ago at NBA All-Star Weekend.
In comparison to joining for a sneaker deal like fellow active rap peers; he’ll be among the likes of Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, who currently have creative partnerships with the brand.
