Eminem is no stranger to providing music to movie soundtracks over the years and recently just two weeks ago with Southpaw’s lead-single “Phenomenal.” However, the legendary rapper-producer will be soon be involved with a new TV project in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan in the future. Inspired by Joe Carnahan’s 2002 motion picture Narc, a new drama series set in Motor City will soon be receiving some music assistance from Marshall.
With Carnahan finished with the pilot script, it’s currently being shopped to different networks and Eminem is in negotiations to join for new original music. Much like Timbland’s success this year with FOX’s EMPIRE, Slim Shady will serve as an executive producer and music supervisor for the crime-mystery and drama-themed series. Look for more details to emerge regarding the project in the coming months.
