The wait is over. The official debut film trailer for Fifty Shades Of Grey has finally arrived. The Sam Taylor-Johnson directed romantic drama film is directly based off E. L. James’ 2011 best-selling novel, which has went to sell over 100 million copies worldwide.
To say the erotic novel has captured some popularity in pop culture is an understatement, which even Beyoncé is on board for the film’s roll-out. After premiering an official teaser last week on her Instagram that went viral, she’s even featured in an exclusive updated version for “Crazy in Love” – serving as the theme for the plot and soundtrack.
The film centers on a young literature student by the name of Anastasia Steele, who finds an instant attraction with billionaire, Christian Grey. While the pairs initial awkwardness together comes to fruition during Steel’s job interview (on roommate’s request), Anastasia’s innocence intrigues the tormented Grey for future BDSM practicing teased at times during the trailer.
Whether Ms. Steele is ready to accept the dark truth of Mr. Grey’s past remains to be seen, but you can look look for Fifty Shades Of Grey in theaters worldwide on February 13, 2015.
