FOX Cancels ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ After 5 Seasons

It’s a sad day — FOX has officially cancelled Brooklyn Nine-Nine after five seasons.

The cop comedy show starring Andy Samberg first aired in September 2013, and serves as FOX’s second longest-running comedy after New Girl. “I’m obviously hopeful,” Samberg recently said of a sixth season. “I love making it. I think we’ve had an incredible season. I feel really proud of the episodes. I feel like we’ve had a really nice upswell culturally.”

The series finale will air on May 20th, based around Jake and Amy’s wedding.
