FOX Reveals First Photos & Plot Details for ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’

November 2018!

One of 2018’s biggest comic-film releases, is X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner, is set to star as Jean Grey, as EW Magazine revealed photos and details from the film.

However, some spoilers were also shared within the cover photo of Phoenix, who’s pictured terrified, after a shocking accident hit the X-Men team. Film director, Simon Kinberg spoke on the cover saying, “After they’re dispatched to space for a rescue mission, a solar flare hits the X-Jet and the surge of energy ignites a malevolent, power-hungry new force within Jean, the Phoenix.”

Regarding the setting, Kinberg continued on saying, “Phoenix will feature some of the series’ biggest set pieces to date, including the X-Men’s first trip to outer space. It’s also the most sinister, and somber, chapter in the saga and includes a massive twist halfway through that will irrevocably change the course of the franchise.” James McAvoy and Turner also chimed in about its emotional take, while filming it last summer; citing they believe fans will be truly shocked at its outcome.

Things continued to debut plot teasing information revealing, “Set in 1992, about 10 years after the events of last year’s X-Men: Apocalypse, Dark Phoenix opens with the X-Men, including Mystique, Beast, Storm, Nightcrawler and Quicksilver, in a new, unexpected role: national heroes.” Look for the film to open in theaters November 2, 2018.
