FOX Shares Details for ‘Deadpool 2’ Extended Cut

Coming to Blu-Ray and digital this summer!

Last week, 20th Century Fox successfully rolled out the official sequel to their 2016 film, Deadpool. The project soon dethroned Avengers: Infinity War, for the top spot in box offices; including receiving general positive praise critics and moviegoers. Well, FOX is already looking ahead to the summer, as they prepare for the imminent Blu-ray and digital release.

This week, the entertainment giant shared details on Deadpool 2, confirming the film would be receiving an extended cut (surprised?). While the news shouldn’t be shocking, director David Leitch revealed the extension would feature more suicide and Domino scenes.

He said, “There’s an extended cut. And I think that they may want to spin that out as a special thing. We’re taking our time, and it’s going back to the director cut, and then sort of collaborating with Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, and Paul Wernick; and making sure we’re all getting all the jokes we want – to have it be fun and our sort of fun collaboration.” Unfortunately, he didn’t share any information on more Juggernaut or Cable scenes, which was our personal highlight of the project.

Let us know in the comments what you expect for the special edition.
