FX’s ‘Snowfall’ Series Has Been Renewed for Season 4

We’re almost halfway done with Season 3 of FX’s Snowfall but the network has already decided to re-up on the series for a Season 4.

Ahead of Episode 5 of Season 3, FX has announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that it will continue the ’80s-set drug drama in 2020. The series was created by the late John Singleton, but after his death, it will be interesting to see how the people involved take the series without him.

FX co-president of original programming Nick Grad had this to say about the renewal:

“Snowfall has continued its creative leap forward this season with the hard work and contributions of John Singleton and the brilliant performance of Damson Idris. We are grateful to [executive producers] Dave Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Michael London, Trevor Engelson and Walter Mosley for honoring John’s legacy through their commitment to building on the artistic excellence of Snowfall with a fourth season on FX.”

Snowfall currently airs on FX on Wednesdays at 10pm EST.
