New Harry Potter Book Out in July
Fans of the wizarding world have a lot to look forward to in 2016. With the West End stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child premiering this summer, JK Rowling’s script will be published in book form on July 31st, courtesy of Little Brown UK. The original story, put together with Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, will be performed at Palace Theatre in London on July 30th, but now even if you can’t be there, you’ll be able to experience the action.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
In other Harry Potter news, spin-off film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them hits theaters November 18th.
