Winter is coming to 4K HDR!
With 4K HDR becoming a norm in the real of video games and some popular titles on Netflix, it was only a matter of time before HBO joined in on the fun. This week, Blu-ray.com confirmed that Game of Thrones was officially getting a high-dynamic range upgrade for its inaugural season.
Available June 5th, we’re assuming this will be a test run for the series on 4K Ultra HD, which will decide the fate of future seasons or a complete box set coming after 2019’s finale. Let us know in the comments below if you plan on copping this upgrade.
