HBO Renews “High Maintenance” For Second Season

New HBO series High Maintenance has barely started its first season, but the cable network is already banking on what’s next. They have already ordered another season of the show, after the success after two episodes.

The show isn’t so much a “stoner” series as much as a psychological look at different people and how weed brings them all together. It follows a pot dealer and his interactions with his clients on his delivery runs. It’s quite interesting how every customer is different.

HBO president Casey Bloys had to this to say about the show’s renewal:

“The response to the new episodes exceeded all of our expectations. Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair are brilliant, unconventional storytellers and we’re excited to see what they dream up for us in our second season.”

High Maintenance airs Fridays at 11pm on HBO.
