VICTOR….YO VICTOR!

After failing to generate an audience at the time in the midst of many A-list series at the time (see: Game of Thrones, Eastbound & Down, Boardwalk Empire), How to Make It in America was abruptly cancelled by HBO following its season two finale. The NYY-based comedy-drama soon became a gem for many going back into the archives to watch through HBO GO, which initially, the show creators were looking to move the show to a different network in 2012. Yesterday, Victor Rasuk was out and about with long-time friend Bryan Greenberg for an ordinary lunch with unknown acquaintances and simply said “we’re trying to make season 3 happen.”

Now that four years has almost passed, executive producer Mark Wahlberg, who’s set to have his new drama-comedy series Ballers premiere on the network this June 21st, could be on the verge of resurrecting one of HBO’s most underrated shows of all time. While the possibly for season three remains in limbo, we’re now at ease knowing that Victor and Bryan are trying to bring back the show they once started in with Kid Cudi.
