If you haven’t watched J. Cole‘s 4 Your Eyez Only documentary, it’s something you gotta throw on ASAP because you might learn a thing or two from it. Not to spoil the documentary, but he stopped at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and spoke to students about this story he had while shooting the film.
As you can hear, he talked to a mother who suffered two huge tragedies and still kept a positive outlook on life. This floored Cole World, because he could not relate to anything she had gone through, yet saw her light, and it touched him deep.
