Leto becomes Hef
With Hugh Hefner passing away at the age of 91 just two weeks ago, his life story and legacy is set to be explained though an official biopic film. Director, Brett Ratner, has officially been tapped oversee the project; which doesn’t have a release window set at the moment.
However, Jared Leto of DC Comics, will assume the role of the legendary Playboy mogul, to portray Hef in the biopic project. After 10 years of working to get the movie out, Ratner says the project is in early development – gearing towards a greenlight for production.
While Leto never met the main man, Brett was a close friend to Hef and believes there’s enough footage and his own personal experiences to share for Jared to properly tackle the role. Let us know in the comments what you think and if you agree with Jared Leto starring as Hugh Hefner.
