EXCLUSIVE: JAY-Z Needs One More Person for the Roc-a-Fella Biopic & It’s Not Dame Dash

Reasonable Doubt. . .

Over the past few years, JAY-Z has been making peace with essentially every person he’s had a fallout with or time separated apart from. With Kareem Burke, Vegas Jones and most recently, Jaz-O, reuniting alongside their friend; chatter is starting to emerge behind-the-scenes that the Roc-a-Fella biopic is in its fetal stages.

While many expected this to be movie centered around the Dynasty era with Kanye West, The Diplomats and State Property; we’re hearing that the movie will focus on the earlier days of the Roc, before their fame. So, Jigga’s hustling stories from Marcy, Virginia and other parts of the east coast will be the blueprint of pending film.

It’s unclear if Dame Dash will be on board for his input on their days in the streets; but Jigga still hasn’t made amends with one other person.

That man happens to be DeHaven Irby (credited for teaching Jay the game), who is Mr. Carter’s former best friend from childhood.

Following past run ins with the feds, the two drifted away; including people alleging that DeHaven talked to reduce his time behind bars. Jigga mentioned his stance regarding the De situation on “Dead Presidents” and “A Week Ago.”

However, some people close to the original Roc-a-Fella crew have came out and said that DeHaven never snitched. It’s unlikely that Calvin Klein will be apart of the film, due to more eye-raising situations in the streets; but the Roc-a-Fella biopic will be incomplete without DeHaven.
