HOV looking to purchase TWC
With Harvey Weinstein being removed from his company, in light of multiple sexual assault allegations, TMZ has learned some major news. JAY-Z is currently inquiring on interest in the Weinstein Company. At the moment, the Brooklyn mogul, along with several other investors, are looking to purchase Weinstein’s 23 percent interest in the company. The two have a previous working relationship, as Harvey helped Mr. Carter with producing his film, The Kalief Browder Story.
Along with an upcoming Trayvon Martin miniseries on the verge of entering production, JAY is also looking at acquiring a substantial equity stake in the company – beyond the 23 percentage.
