As sexy as it is to hear that Jhené Aiko is bare ass naked for a campaign, the message behind her partaking in it may be more important than her showing skin.
Aiko got the esteemed honor of being the 2016’s Sexiest Vegan and for that achievement, she posed for their Anti-Fur campaign to raise awareness about the treatment of animals for style purposes.
In the video blow, Jhené talks about what caused her to turn vegan and why it’s so important for her to support such a cause. The singer emphasizes the fact that animals can’t speak up for themselves and she wants to be one of those who does, because of the conditions they go through for clothing and/or accessories. Obviously, she doesn’t stand for this.
“As human beings, we have the power to speak up for animals. They don’t speak our language, so I feel like it’s up to us to help them and give them a voice. Animals have feelings. They have souls. They have emotions. The way they’re killed for fur is very inhumane.”
We’re sure some reading this feel the same way and/or are on the fence about animal cruelty. Maybe this can encourage, even one person, to turn vegan and save more animals.
