Jonah Hill Names His Top 5 Hip-Hop Acts, Shares Favorite Album and Song

Promoting his new film Mid90s (out this Friday), Jonah Hill sat down with Rob Markman of Genius for an in-depth interview.

For those who don’t know, Jonah is a true hip-hop head, and Mid90s is his ode to the skateboard and hip-hop culture that he grew up on. “It’s not easy to get this shit through the system,” he says about the movie. The actor goes deep into his love of hip-hop, speaking on the arrival of Souls of Mischief and The Pharcyde on the West Coast, his friendship with Q-Tip, the impact of Travis Scott and much, much more.

Rob also asked him about his all-time favorites. He revealed that A Tribe Called Quest’s The Low End Theory is his favorite album and Ice Cube’s “It Was a Good Day” is his favorite song.
