WHEN YOU’RE THE REASON TO CELEBRATE!
If it wasn’t for the fact that this is Katy Perry and she could do no wrong in our eyes, we probably wouldn’t have given this a look, simply for the fact that it’s not even Thanksgiving yet and they’re already pushing Christmas on us. But our girl Katy is this year’s face of H&M’s holiday campaign and hey enlisted the pop star for a new commercial.
Aside from making the ad spot a joyous occasion full of holiday cheer, Katy debuted a new Christmas song called “Every Day Is A Holiday,” which is reportedly produced by Dr. Luke and Duke Dumont. The track actually sounds like new age Mariah Carey Merry Christmas and catchy enough that it might be the new holiday anthem this year.
Perry stars as a flying fairy, a nutcracker and even jumps out of a gift box throughout the two minute ad. Shit, we wouldn’t mind that as a present for Christmas.
