Hakeem has a new friend for the junior year
Only a few days removed from revealing Taye Diggs would have a role in the upcoming third season of EMPIRE, yet another person has been added. Today, EW has announced that Kid Cudi is set to join the popular series this fall, as he’ll have a recurring role throughout the year.
Cudi will assume the role of independent musician, Gram, who will rival Hakeem in the studio and real life – including scooping up his ex-shorty, Tiana. As Hakeem prepares for fatherhood and copes with a wedding to Laura being called off, we’re sure Gram will not be the least of his worries.
As the Ohio Kid gears up for his Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ album out later this year, look for the season 3 premiere of EMPIRE this September 21st at 9:00pm ET/PT on Fox.
