X-23 is still in the X-Men Universe!
Late last week, 20th Century fox held a limited Logan Noir premiere event, before the film officially released to Blu-ray yesterday. During the show, film director James Mangold and lead star Hugh Jackman held a special Q&A, after the rare presentation for fans. During the moment, Mangold was asked whether or not Dafne Keen would reprise her role as X-23 in a future film.
With Mangold and Fox having advanced discussions for the Laura character, he went to say – “Anything’s possible. I’ve certainly talked to them about it. I even talked to them about it before we made the movie. I thought she was just such a great character, but with what Dafne did, I think that certainly that’s possible.” While we’re sure X-23 will could appear in an X-Men Cinematic Universe effort down the line; hopefully Fox ensures this role happens sooner than later.
