Marlon Wayans Explains Why Comics Should Not Disrespect Dave Chappelle

Ass to Ass. . .

Marlon Wayans made a stop by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club to discuss his new Netflix comedy-special, Woke-ish and self-titled NBC series. The stand-up presentation marked Marlon’s first ever special, as he touched on wanting to start from scratch at this next phase of his career.

After opening up for Dave Chappell at Radio City a few years back, he felt that having his own special would humble him with going back to the roots of his legendary family tree. Things continued to advice for Monique and dealing with companies, and keeping those issues behind closed doors.

He also touched on Kevin Hart vs. Michael Blackson, as well as Faizon Love’s recent comments about Dave Chappelle not being creative. Watch the full interview below, where he breaks down why comics shouldn’t be going at Chappelle and much more.
