In 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, the world was finally introduced to Black Panther, as he and Spider-Man both made debuts in the film. Luckily, Chadwick Boseman was granted his own live-action spinoff film, as Marvel Comics went into immediate green light production plans last year.
With the project finally completed and editing happening this summer, Marvel shares the official first teaser for Black Panther – featuring no dialogue and tons of action. Beforehand, T’Challa returns to his African kingdom of Wakanda, to find friction within his homeland to stop a world war.
Alongside the help of C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross, his love Nakia and others members of the Dora Milaj; T’Challa can only trust a select few of members within his own country.
Starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, and Forest Whitaker – look for Black Panther in theaters on February 16, 2018.
