Yellowjacket really looks bad ass!
It’s no secret that Marvel is ready to take over the rest of 2015, highlighted by upcoming releases Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fantastic Four and here with Ant-Man. Before phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe officially begins, Peyton Reed’s upcoming directed motion picture project Ant-Man will be taking motion-capture shooting outside of the box for a unique experience that will leave even non-fans of the series amazed.
Last January, Marvel shared a collection of concept art to introduce fans to the newly updated outfits, suits and costumes we would see for the big project. Entertainment Weekly got the exclusive first photo of Scott Lang’s arched-rival, Darren Cross transformed to Yellowjacket.
The photo above gives us an introductory look at the advanced suit Yellowjacket will have with multiple plasma and cannons, while Ant-Man’s suit won’t have a single weapon. Starring Paul Rudd, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Douglas, look for the Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures presentation in theaters this July 17th.
