The second season of Marvel’s Daredevil series was an undeniable success, with Jon Bernthal’s role as The Punisher fulfilling high expectations set by Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk in the first season.
Now, it’s been revealed that Jon Bernthal will reprise The Punisher in a standalone series on Netflix. Steve Lightfoot, an executive producer and writer behind NBC’s Hannibal, will serve as executive producer.
The show will follow Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders in the list of Marvel series on the streaming service. Watch a teaser below.
