There’s no denying how great season one of True Detective was, thanks to the the strength of the writers and directors, but most importantly the two main characters, Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.
In an interview on The Rich Eisen Show last Friday, Matthew McConaughey talked about everything from Texas football to his new animated film, Sing, but most importantly, True Detective came up in discussion.
Matthew has previously spoke on the possibility of starring in the series again, and during the new interview, he reinstates his interest. “If that thing was written well and it came up again, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second,” he says to Rich Eisen. “Oh, I’m open to it for sure.”
