HBO Max Introduces Cheaper Price with Ads

$10 a month with ads. . .

HBO Max ad subscription price rates revealed, as the WarnerMedia company looks to stop the train Disney+ has been running. During quarantine, our go-to-app, has been HBO Max. It has the most insane library of any streaming service; but has sadly been the most expensive. Beginning June, HBO will introduce a new ad-supported tier to their service starting at $10 per month.

This will be cheaper than their $15 a month premium service, that has zero ads. It’s unclear how many ads will play with shows, but we’re expecting something similar to Hulu will be implemented. Speaking of which, the HBO Max-Lite at $10, will now face off with Hulu’s basic plan of $6; as well as Netflix’s standard subscription of $9.

Look for more details from AT&T and WarnerMedia to emerge before the start of summer.
