Ethan Hunt returns to theaters this July 31!
Remember in January when Paramount Pictures moved the release date for their upcoming Mission Impossible 5 film from December to July? Well, the action-spy and soon-to-be summer blockbuster hit has now received an updated name. Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is now the title Paramount will be moving forward, as we inch closer to the film’s official release date in the coming months.
The first trailer, which premiered earlier during the NCAA Basketball tournament, focuses on Ethan Hunt returning to his stealthy and explosive ways to track down a nefarious rogue syndicate. We also see Cruise revisiting his signature explosive ways of self-stunting – including a motorcycle chase and literally catching an airplane ride.
Also starring Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris and Alec Baldwin – look for Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation in theaters (also IMAX) worldwide this July 31, 2015.
