Today Nike Basketball has finally unveiled the highly anticipated 11th and final on-court sneaker silhouette for Laker Legend Kobe “Bean” Bryant, the Kobe 11. Being that the Black Mamba is going on his worldwide retirement run, the Swoosh team decided to end off his sneaker franchise legacy with a bang, lacing him with a high-performance lightweight low-cut model dressed up with a FlyKnit upper, very reminiscent of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite low.
In the video above, Nike designer Eric Avar gives some brief insight on designing the new Kobe 11. The first official red and black “Achilles Heel” colorway of the Kobe 11 hits sports footwear retailers and the Nike online shop starting January 9th. Check out detailed images of the new kicks above.
