During the Super Bowl, there was a clip of Eli Manning floating around, that showed him confused and unresponsive during a Denver Broncos play, when the rest of the family was celebrating in the sky box. It was the subject of plenty of laughs during and after the big game and it was only a matter of time before his brother Peyton Manning saw it.
During his visit on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon asked The Sheriff about it and he stood up for his brother, saying he was probably in the mindset that he was at the time —focused—- and not claiming victory until the final whistle blew.
That didn’t mean he didn’t find time to make fun of his brother, though. The two read off important times in Peyton’s life, and used a cardboard cut out of Eli’s face for reactions.
The older brother has jokes.
