Police in Portugal & Spain Seize 745 Kilos of Cocaine Hidden in Fresh Pineapples

This is insane cocaine bust. . .

A few days ago, Iberian law officials made a major drug bust, as Spanish and Portuguese police successfully completed a joint-operation. This resulted in an insane seizure of 745 kilograms of cocaine (1,642 pounds), which was hidden in pineapples. The international smuggling ring, led by Colombians, was shipped from Latin America in the previously mentioned containers.

The investigation started last April, revealing the transporting of coke from two labs in Pinto and Nuevo Baztan. The product was stored in Barcelona, before being moved to Madrid every 20 days – prior to the bust. At the moment, nine members of this cartel were arrested and charged with transporting the cocaine from South America. As you can see in the clip above, the drugs were coated in wax and hidden inside cylinders of the fruit – giving the blind eye an insane illusion.
