Pusha T’s Public Service Announcement on Prison Reform

The Presidential Election has brought out the activist in Pusha T. He has been seen supporting Hillary Clinton and marijuana legalization the past few weeks more than music, but that’s not such a bad thing.

In conjunction with ECCO (The Entertainment Consortium Collaborative Outreach Program), Pyrex P stars in a new public service announcement supporting prison reform.

The three-minute clip finds him telling the story of Norman Brown, a former inmate that went to jail and spent his adult life locked up because of mandatory minimum sentencing. Luckily, President Obama commuted his sentence last November and he was set free.

Hear about his story and what he’s doing now on the outside in the clip up top.
