Put Yourself Onto Sundance TV’s “The Red Road”

RedRoad

During our bordem or chill time, we tend to kick back and load up the Netflix app on our Amazon Fire TV and scroll through, looking for something new to watch. Our most recent time spent on the streaming service, we came across a TV series titled The Red Road, and after reading the shows synopsis and recognizing a few of the actors names, we decided to put it on.

The show is based in a small town just outside of New York City, and follows Sheriff Harold Jensen (Martin Henderson), who is struggling to keep things together at home, while also dealing with things within his community, that shares land with a Native American tribe, Rampo Mountain Indians to be exact. Following a couple of tragedies that happened in the town, one involving Jensen’s wife, he’s unsure how to deal with the situation and forms an alliance with ex-con and dangerous tribe member Phillip Kopus (Jason Momoa), in order to cover it up. That’s when things start to get uncovered and it comes back to haunt those involved.

Like every good TV series, “The Red Road” leaves you on the edge of your seat at the end of each episode, making you want to continue watching. If you’re looking to get caught up on the show or need something to watch while your favorite show(s) is taking a break, the first 6 episodes of season 1 are available on Netflix now. Sundance TV just recently released a trailer for the upcoming second season, which you can watch below. And be sure to tune in when it airs April 2nd on the network.
