Welcome back Danger Girl!
The producers behind the Resident Evil movie franchise have officially gained rights to Danger Girl. The popular J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell’s hit comic series, is inching towards finding their lead actress with the help of Constantin Films. At the moment, both film and TV shows based on the comic book title are being planned, as they also look for writer and directors.
So far, the theme is set to be a mix of James Bond, Charlie’s Angeles and Indiana Jones, if you can wrap your head around that dynamic. Bolt Pictures issued a statement saying, “Danger Girl is the perfect opportunity to create a team of grounded, relatable, and dangerous young female characters, but with humor and spectacular action.”
