Airplane travel is so common nowadays nobody even thinks twice about it. But back in the day when the aircraft was barely in its infancy, there was a woman by the name of Amelia Earhart who changed the game. She was the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
For Harper’s Bazaar‘s new March issue, Rihanna has decided to pay homage to the pilot and her fashion style at the time. Dressed in some sexy clothes, RiRi looks like she’s ready to take flight and soar above and beyond what she could ever dream of. Of course, she’s already done that with her career but her peak is still yet to come.
“There’s something so special about a woman who dominates in a man’s world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness, and the nerve to never take no for an answer. Amelia Earhart was such a dynamic force in her industry, setting multiple aviation records in her time. So it was a no-brainer for me to team up with Harper’s Bazaar in honor of a woman who held her own with the big boys.”
Though the sexy singer isn’t taking it off, we still appreciate her flight apparel.
