RZA‘s upcoming movie Love Beats Rhymes, previously titled Coco, now has an official release date.
The film, starring the likes of Common, Azealia Banks and Jill Scott, will hit select theaters December 1st and will be available to purchase on DVD from January 2nd. It’s about an aspiring hip-hop artist who discovers the world of slam poetry.
RZA directed the musical drama, which will be his first in the role since 2013’s The Man with the Iron Fists. Co-stars include Lucien Laviscount, Hana Mae Lee and others.
