Things got to an all-time low for Bill Masters at the end of Season 3 of Masters of Sex. His new assistant was trying to bring down his practice. He lost Virginia Johnson to a smooth cat named Dan Logan. His marriage with Libby was damn near extinct. A kid accused him of unlawful acts.
So how is he bouncing back in Season 4? It seems like the only way he knows how. Through the sexual revolution of the late ’60s and ’70s.
As you can see from the trailer above, Bill has gone through some sort of rock bottom transformation and is trying to make things right with Virginia. Except, Virginia is on a downward spiral of her own and she’s using sex as an escape. Not only that, but everyone else is too. Your normal couple are now swingers. All morals are out the door.
How the two reconcile and continue their work, remains to be seen, but smoking weed and having sex will be strong themes in this upcoming season.
