With WWE gearing up for the official Andre the Giant documentary with HBO, the wrestling giant has plans for an official Vince McMahon biopic film. WWE Studios is in the preliminary stages of finding characters and story lines for their chairman and owner’s history with the company.
Sony Pictures is backing the project, which is currently titled Pandemonium, as the drama will also give a look into the rise of his company’s global expansion. We expect a large portion to focus on his private life, battle with WCW, the Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels incident, the infamous steroid scandal and rumored affairs with former on-air divas. Look for more details later this year, when both Sony Pictures and WWE Studios get ready to present the public with a rough draft.
