The second season of Stranger Things doesn’t air until October, but the co-creators, Ross and Matt Duffer, have already confirmed a third season. On future plots, Matt says, “We just have to keep adjusting the story. Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.” Ross also told Vulture that a fourth season is likely, saying “We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” though that hasn’t been given the green light yet.
Season two of Stranger Things will hit Netflix on October 27th.
