Following the release date and teaser a couple of weeks back, Netflix has finally dropped the official trailer for The Get Down: Part II.
Set one year after the events of Part I, the new episodes continue to tell the evolution from disco to hip hop in The Bronx, New York City during the 1970s. In the trailer, Zeke is still passionate about making it as an MC, Mylene has dreams of making it big as a disco singer and the Get Down brothers are put to the test. “If making something of myself means losing myself, then what am I making?,” Zeke closes the trailer with.
The Get Down – Part II hits Netflix on April 7th.
