With the success of many TV series lately, there’s bound to be more than ever dropping this year via the likes of Netflix and Amazon. Hulu is sharing the first teaser for its upcoming show titled The Handmaid’s Tale.
Based on Margaret Atwood’s book of the same name, the plot is based around a woman named Offred (played by Elisabeth Moss) in the dystopia of Gilead, formerly the United States. The trailer is only short, but it gives you an idea of what the series will be like.
The Handmaid’s Tale arrives April 26th, and co-stars the likes of Samira Wiley, Yvonne Strahovski and Joseph Fiennes.
