Compton California spitter Kendrick Lamar continues making a mark on the fashion game. Taking over as the face of veteran footwear brand Reebok Classic, .K.Dot gears up to release his very own custom limited edition rendition of the popular Ventilator silhouette, putting his own personal spin on the vintage low-cut sneaker. The TDE frontman decided to shed a little light on Los Angeles gang culture, and bring crips and bloods together on his predominately white woven upper kicks, with the left shoe branded with the word “blue” on back the right shoe branded with the word “red” on back. The kicks also feature gum soles, speckled blue/white/red shoestrings with Kendrick Lamar’s signature branded on the tongues.
The limited edition Kendrick Lamar Reebok Classic Ventilatos will be available July 18th at select footwear retailers and also over at the Reebok Classics online shop. Check out the special Reebok Classic x K.Dot lookbook above.
